Well, I used to feel scared crossing the U.S. border because of so many horror stories that happened. I could never take the chance of being stopped and harassed at the border so I made sure that I would have no problems being admitted at the border by getting assistance from Candian Pardon Services. I found this company through a website www.USborderblog.com. They helped me get the documentations that I needed to guarantee my entrance. Now i cross the border with no worries!

I’ve been over the border many times in the past few years. Mostly to visit Mexico, but at least once per year to renew my TN-1 work VISA. I’ve put up with a lot of shit from the border agents during these times, and have always bit my tongue to get the paperwork done. However, that was nothing compared to the way I saw Mexicans treated at the border offices. There is just a general lack of respect that underlines every action they take.

One event in particular sticks out in my mind. I was down getting my VISA renewed just before the Iraq war. There was a huge peace rally on the Mexican side of the border, in the little park area that all the lanes pass by to get into the US. A lot of people were there cheering, waving at the cars in line, and flying Mexican and peace (dove) flags. Two (anglo) border guards were ribbing a (native spanish speaking) border guard, telling him to go rip their flags down. Then they heckled the protesters for a good hour while I stood there in line.

“We are the face of our nation.”

How sad.
